The Vehicle Design Review (VDR) event is an around-the-vehicle presentation focused on the progress of the team in meeting the VDP goals for Year 4 and, ultimately, the VTS for the vehicle. Year 4 of the competition is focused on meeting the 99% milestone for the VDP, which means achieving validation and refinement from all vehicle and powertrain systems. Teams will be expected to fluently present their consumer target market, VTS, and vehicle architecture. Teams will also be expected to present the actual integration of their vehicle and discuss design decisions and design features of vehicle components and subsystems. The presentation will also focus on design changes from Year 3, throughout Year 4, and status of VTS testing.
